Her career spans a few different industries but she believes working as a designer captures all of her interests and skills (despite all the changes!). Prior to WillowTree, she was a solo designer working with entrepreneurs and small businesses developing their brands, but a love for tech and complexity pulled her into Product. She loves FinTech, brunch, and Atlanta.

You can’t have a blueprint until you have failure. A candid talk on design team failures that I've learned from throughout my career in a collaborative and client-facing environment. As I share moments where I've dropped the ball both internally and externally, I’ll analyze how I used those moments to carve a path towards success and create my personal blueprint for effectively supporting design teams. We’ll cover things like collaborating with non-designers, providing/receiving constructive feedback to teammates, managing up, and recovering trust – all components needed to ship great work!
