🗓️ Lorena’s talk:

UX writing: the right words in the right place at the right time

Track B (Downstairs), Friday 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

Sloppy tool tips, poorly labeled components, confusing error messages, and obtuse hover help are like gravel on the smooth surface of your interface. To deliver a truly stellar user experience, you need strong UX writing, tailored to your specific audience. This workshop will help you hone these essential UX writing skills.

With an emphasis on UX technical writing, we’ll show you examples of both excellent and poor UX writing from our own projects. We’ll explain what works and what doesn’t and why. Then, you’ll practice putting your own words and images on sample interfaces. We want you to be able to approach your next UX writing assignment with confidence and panache.
