Michelle is a Design Advocate at zeroheight, where she serves the design community through knowledge sharing, building bridges, and identifying community needs and solutions. When facilitating workshops, the UX designer in her tries to ensure participants feel they’re spending time in a meaningful way. Outside work, she hosts a podcast called UX In Real Life with Mary Fran Thompson, coaches people in their design careers, and loves hiking. Michelle has a master’s from the University of Baltimore in Interaction Design and Information Architecture - a fancy way of saying “UX.” Originally from the East Coast, Michelle now lives in Oakland, California.
